Roger Herman (1943 to 2006) was a Strategic Business Futurist concentrating on workforce and workplace trends. He was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Herman Group. Founded in 1980, the firm serves a wide variety of corporate, trade association, and governmental clients on a national basis, guiding them through structural, mission, leadership, cultural, and design changes that help them better prepare for the future. An internationally-recognized specialist in employee retention, Roger is author of 11 books including the Business Best Seller Impending Crisis: Too Many Jobs, Too Few People. He was a Founding Member of the Association of Professional Futurists, Contributing Editor to The Futurist magazine, and is featured weekly on PBS on The Employment Channel.
