Ms. Kathleen Ryan is a principal of The Orion Partnership, a consulting firm based near Seattle, WA. She is known for her work in turning fear-based organizations into ones where collaboration and trust are the keys to high performance. Her consulting services concentrate on supporting executives as they meet the challenges of rapidly changing business environments through executive on-boarding and coaching. Ms. Ryan is the coauthor, with Geoffrey Bellman, of Extraordinary Groups: How Ordinary Teams Achieve Amazing Results. She is also the coauthor, with Daniel K. Oestreich, of Driving Fear Out of the Workplace: Creating the High-Trust, High-Performance Organization, and of Courageous Messenger: How to Successfully Speak Up at Work with Daniel Oestreich and George Orr. Kathleen serves on the Board of Directors for Seattle University's Master's program in Organizational Design and Renewal and has served as both a member and director of the Organization Development Professional Practice Area for the American Society for Training and Development.
